Need to switch maps on your ARK: Survival Ascended server? Here's a quick and easy guide to help you do it using the Sandbox Hosting Game Panel.
Go to the Sandbox Hosting Game Panel and log in with your account details.
After logging in, navigate to Service Management and find and click Game Servers.
Open on your ARK: Survival Ascended Server.
Find and click on Commandline Manager in the left-hand menu.
Select a Map (Using Default Commandline)
Click on Default ARK Commandline.
Use the dropdown menu to select the official map or DLC Map you want to use.
Click on Apply to save the changes.
Using the Modded Commandline (For Mods or Custom Maps)
In the Commandline Manager, click on the Modded commandline.
Hit Modify to open more customization options.
Scroll to the Map section and choose your desired map
Note: The active command line will become highlighted in bold once activated.
IMPORTANT: Make sure to add _WP to the end of the map name and use correct capitalization.
Adding Modded Maps (Optional)
Install the custom map as a mod via the Steam Workshop.
Copy the Map Mod ID from the mod description
In the Modded commandline:
Choose to use Mod IDs.
Paste the Mod ID into the appropriate field.
Click Apply.
Once your map is selected and settings applied. Head back to the main panel and Start the server.
