Want to customize your server name or add a password for private access? This guide shows you how to update your server’s name and password using the Sandbox Hosting Game Panel.
Go to the Sandbox Hosting Game Panel and log in with your account details.
From the dashboard, click on the Configuration Files tab.

Click the Config Editor button next to it.

To change the server name:
Locate the ServerName or SessionName field and enter your desired name.
To set a password:
Use ServerPassword to require a password for joining.
You can also set an Admin Password using ServerAdminPassword.

Optional: Use the Text Editor for Advanced Edits
If you prefer manual editing or need to add custom commands, click the Text Editor button next to the same file.
Here, you can directly edit the GameUserSettings.ini file and add advanced options

After making changes, click Save. Then go back to your dashboard and start your server to apply the new settings.
Still Not Working?
If your server name hasn’t updated, or players can still join without a password:
Double-check your spelling and syntax in the config file.
Make sure you saved the changes and started the server.
