
Keeping your ARK: Survival Ascended server up-to-date ensures stability, new features, and compatibility with players' game clients.
Here's how to update your server through the Sandbox Hosting Game Panel.
Go to the Sandbox Hosting Game Panel and log in to your account.
After logging in, navigate to Service Management and find and click Game Servers.

Open on your ARK: Survival Ascended Server.

NOTE: Stop the Server to avoid file conflicts during the update process.
Run the Steam Update
Once the server is stopped, locate and click the Steam Update button in the panel.

The update process will begin. This may take a few minutes, depending on the update size.

Important: Do not start the server while the update is still running.
Once the Steam Update is complete, click Start to boot up your server.
Your server should now be updated and visible in the ARK server list.
Having Trouble?
If the server still appears greyed out or unjoinable:
Try running the Steam Update again. Make sure your game client is updated as well.
