This guide will help you with how to start a New World on your Hytale Server
Starting a new world on your Hytale server is one of the simplest ways to refresh your gameplay experience, test new features, or give your community a clean slate to explore. A fresh world can help you troubleshoot issues, experiment with generation settings, or launch a brand‑new adventure without affecting your existing saves. Understanding how world creation works and what each option means gives you more control over your server’s performance, stability, and long‑term progression. This guide walks through the essentials of creating a new world, what to expect during the process, and how to avoid common pitfalls so your server starts strong from the very first chunk.
Creating and Managing New Worlds
1. Log in to your Game Control Panel and navigate to your service.
2. Navigate to the Web-Console Tab.

3. In the Web-Console tab, run the following command:
/world add <name>
You can also use the other world command settings here:
/world add <name> |
Generates a new world. |
/world list |
Lists the loaded worlds. |
/world setdefault <name> |
Sets a world to default for new players. |
/world load <name> |
Loads a world to run on the server. |
/world remove <name> |

/world prune --confirm |

After running the command, the server will automatically create the world and activate it.
4. You can now join the server and test if everything is loaded correctly.
